Dr. Caitlin Davis is the Founder and CEO of art advisory Warfield Eliot. In addition to assisting private individuals curate and grow their fine art collections, she has single-handedly raised millions of dollars for philanthropic organizations across the United States as a Charity Auctioneer and Fundraising Consultant.

She previously served as Vice President within the Chairman’s Office at Christie’s, where she managed and developed a portfolio of the auction house’s international T op Clients, working directly with these high-net-worth individuals to facilitate the sale and acquisition of several hundred million dollars of art across all collecting categories.

Prior to joining Christie’s, she served as Chief of Staff at The Frick Collection in New York, working with the museum’s Director on institution-wide initiatives, including Board and top donor relationships, fund-raising, and curatorial and exhibition projects. She has held additional positions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum and the Commission for Art Recovery.

Caitlin has taught at Rutgers University and guest lectured at NYU. She has published multiple scholarly essays and criticism in such periodicals as the Womans Art Journal and the Frick Magazine. She has spoken and served on panels at NYU, the College Art Association Annual Conference, the Southeastern College Art Conference, the Zimmerli Art Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She organized an exhibition with accompanying catalogue at Millersville University on the subject of her doctoral dissertation, Lee Miller: Photographer of W ar. Her doctoral work has been recognized with an award from the Luce Foundation.

Davis graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Language. She holds a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Art History from Rutgers University. She studied Art History, French History and Italian Literature at the Sorbonne in Paris, France.
